Using up some scraps…..

Now I’ve finished work on my Christmas backlog from last year I can start work on making presents.

Project one has been to use up scraps from my swap items and make some mug rugs. They seem to be all the rage at the moment…..and are particularly good for children to use for their bedtime drink and biscuit.

They’re not particularly sophisticated but I thought I could use them for gifts for teachers etc.

I’ve had had an idea to make a Christmas eve mug rug to put out santa’s whisky & mince pie aswell as rudolphs carrot….I may work on it tomorrow if the Christmas decorating goes to plan and I have some sewing time.
